ANNOUNCEMENT & PLOTTING FOR EVENT 006

We apologize for the lateness of this post. Things have been very busy for your mod team and we know many others within the last few weeks. So today we are putting up the plotting post for our November event and the event itself will be posted late Friday or early Saturday to give everyone time to plot if they would like.

Now, without further ado...

PLOTTING 006: FANTASTIC FEASTS & WHERE TO FIND THEM

I. THE LIGHT REBORN You will awaken to golden light beaming through the windows, cracks, and holes of wherever you may be living. It’s comfortable and soothing, inviting. What is it? Look outside and you will see bright blue skies and an undisturbed warmth beaming down on you. The sun has been revealed! Thanks to the efforts of the new citizens of the island, the weather has cleared, clouds pulling back to the edges of the fog, allowing the sun and its heat to shine over the Nameless City. For one day a week, and that day is today. A rainbow breaks over the sky and will remain there the entire day, but it draws the eyes of anyone walking outside, urging them to follow its colorful rays. What will you find at the end of the rainbow? Follow the pull of the light to the ruins and find them fully restored to their former glory, revealing both a shrine and House of Worship. Worship to what? The robots give no direct information as to that, but they speak in high praise of the work that led to its revitalization. The grand building seems to shimmer when stared at for too long, and something about it draws the eye, as if urging people towards its doors. Come, come. The robots are more than ready to encourage entry. Inside, there is a grand foyer with one winding staircase and each side leading upstairs on the east and west halls. Those halls lead to hallways with rooms on each side. Comfortable apartments with one room or two, all renovated for habitation.They do not have a lot of amenities (you will not find fancy bathtubs or kitchens or hanging sex swings), but they have running water (might be cold), a bathroom with a stand-in shower, some furniture, and a small welcome basket with hygiene supplies, condoms, and lube. If a person were to move in today, they would have all they need for simplistic living. ● ● ● ● ● ● ● ● ● II. SET THE STAGE But between those staircases in the center is a stone corridor covered in carvings of people in various positions engaging happily in their carnal delights. Walk down this corridor to find yourself in what looks to be a temple not unlike an amphitheater. Tall columns, stone steps, soft glowing torches that carry a scent of something familiar. Cinnamon, vanilla, nutmeg, cedar, musk, and more...the scent is different for every person, but it feels familiar...makes your heart beat faster in what you might think is excitement. Anticipation. Follow the steps down to a circular stage at the center of the temple. Stare out at the stone seats and you will be overcome with the sensation of being watched, even if no one else is there. You are a performer, the center of attention. Your audience awaits. What shall you perform for them today? A song, a dance, an act of temptation, all are possible. You may feel unlike yourself with your need to be whatever you think your audience needs. And what your mind conjures the temple provides. Whether costume, props, or intricate scenery that feels all too real, the stage is for you and you will do anything to please those adoring fans. Maybe a fan will even seek to join you. The effects will last until your performance ends, or an auspicious act is completed. ● ● ● ● ● ● ● ● ● III. FEAST AND BE... But do not feel as if you have only been brought here to perform for the masses! The robots will reassure you that they’ve prepared a great thank you gift for all your hard work. They will lead you through wide doors to a huge dining hall with a long table filled to the brim with steaming, chilled, and other delectable goods. A feast has been readied with foods from every world the inhabitants hail from, although some more than others. There is something here for everyone. Eat, eat and be merry! And if some of the foods might cause certain changes, it’s not a big deal, is it? Some of them may even be to your liking: Eggplant - Taste this deliciously thick squash and you may notice a bit of emptiness in your shirt...and the tightening of your pants as breasts flatten to stiff pectorals and changes occur in other areas.It’s a new you, maybe you’ll take yourself for a test ride. No changes occur to male-bodied persons. Clams - Seafood to your liking? You may notice your voice being a little higher and your clothes sitting awkwardly on your frame as your body shifts to accommodate its new form. Depending on how you dress, you might be giving someone close by an eyefull...but maybe you don’t mind. No changes occur to female-bodied persons. Melon - Enjoy your juicy fruits, but you may notice a few other things looking just as juicy. Breasts swell, full to burst out of whatever top they may be hiding in. You don’t have breasts? Well, maybe now you do. Or you’re a guy who’s noticed your coconuts are getting a bit heavy. Cake - Sweets for the sweet, but you know what they say about moderation? No idea. Smash that cake and find yourself dealing with a bit more cushion for your pushin’. Your buttocks will swell in shape and size, prominent as if urging someone to grab it. Roast beef - Nothing you’re wearing fits anymore. Your skin gleams as muscles bulge. You look like you’ve spent years pumping iron and never missed a leg day in your life. What will you do with your newfound bulk? Show it off? Knock over someone accidentally walking into you? Maybe someone else will want to try the beef. Shrimp - Everything suddenly seems so much bigger. Like you’re seeing a whole new world. Or looking up at one at least. Whether it’s your entire body, or maybe one or two parts of it, you’ve suddenly learned what the smaller side feels like. But you know they say size doesn’t matter. Effects of the foods can be combined, but will only last for up to three hours or until an Auspicious Act is completed. ● ● ● ● ● ● ● ● ● VI. IN YOUR DREAMS After you’ve taken your fill, the drowsiness sets in. You may decide to make your way back to your home, take advantage of the many open apartments in the House, or succumb to your full stomach right where you sit. Sleep calls, loosening your grip on the waking world, wrapping you in its arms and pulling you into slumber. You dream many things. Of anything. Memories so close to real you could be reliving your best or worst day in the moment. Grand fantastical adventures so unreal but you could never imagine it any other way. Nightmares, so horrifying, they would shake you from your sleep at any other time. Your deepest desires brought to the fore in the only place you would share them. Whatever you dream, it feels real to you and you live the experience as if it happens to your true self. Or maybe this isn’t a memory...not one of yours, anyway. This world doesn’t feel like your own. This nightmare is not seated within your own fears. These desires, they aren’t your own needs and urges. It’s as if you are viewing the world through the mind of someone else. Someone who happens to be there right with you, experiencing and living in this world just as you are. Do they know you don’t belong here? Or is it all as real to them as it feels it could be to you? But at least you aren’t alone. You will awaken from these dreams remembering everything as if it happened to your true self, clear and vibrant, but no physical harm or changes will carry over. Dreams can continue to occur anytime you fall asleep throughout the rest of the month. Any Auspicious Acts that occur within the dreams still count toward rewards and will show as completed on your A5 card. ● ● ● ● ● ● ● ● ● N A V I G A T I O N

Question! If a character dreams about his past, would it be okay to play them as physically being a younger version of themselves within the dream sequences so long as it falls within the game's age restrictions?

(For added context: Huaisang is repressed and has dreams reliving his youth, it'd mainly just be limited to his own dreams so I wanted to make sure that was okay before running with the idea!)

IN YOUR DREAMS
Top of my head, I can think of a few things Constance might dream about:
The Fall of House Nuvelle as seen through a crack on the wall, because Constance has to survive no matter what. Even if there's very blurry carnage and screaming going on outside.
Pile cats on the Death Knight Fear not, the Death Knight is tame! Constance will insist that he likes being turned into a feline Jenga tower, even if he's smoking fire through his nose and being generally intimidating.
Ferdinand von Aegir, but Fabio This is a nightmare. Can she just go back to dreaming about everyone dying again?

II. Even will be seduced by the stage! That is to say, a wizard can’t resist showing off, and he dreams of being a greater wizard than he currently is. He’s going to be doing a magic show, at first with simple spells like Burning Hands, but moving on to pantomiming spells he doesn’t actually know yet — bigger, flashier works that the stage will provide pyrotechnics for.

Want somebody to magically lift your character and fly them around? Change their colour, size or shape (or at least experience the illusion of such)? He’ll be taking audience volunteers. He’ll be wildly embarrassed about this showiness once he comes to his senses, however. That was the opposite of playing it cool.


III. After the hot springs, Even is going to be very cautious about eating these offerings. Once he learns of their relatively simple effects, however, he may sample the wares. He’s going to clam it up, folks, although he probably won’t take this new bod for a test ride with anyone he doesn’t already know.

He may try nibbling the roast beef at some point, too, just for fun. I’m toying with this making him more devilish instead of just beefier.

Also, more in the vein of gen threads, come sample some tasty treats from the world he hails from. Roast roc? Braised basilisk? Scrambled cockatrice eggs? He'll be ridiculously excited to share some delicacies from home, and of course, Faerunian alcohol.


VI. I would love to have Even visit some dreams. Take him for a ride!

His life has been reasonably gentle and simple, so his dreams will likely not be very dramatic. However, do you want your character to either visit a magic academy with all kinds of dorm shenanigans and arcane learning, or a fantastical big city where mermaids visit the docks and gryphon riders police the skies? Or maybe you just want to see where Even grew up, maybe meet his sisters? Then his dreams are for you!


(I’m still working away at some Halloween Party threads so I may be a slightly slow start this month, but I expect it will pick up once some of those wrap up.)

1) Breeding shenanigans (but I think Oran would rather take the clams on that simply due to Even's Responsibilities and Oran's growing kinks in the fantasy of being bred, lol)
2) Some demonic beef would be fun if only because they're nerds and this is like a classic nerd fantasy? I'm not really sure where we could have a thread GO with that but maybe just a little goofing off?
3) I'd love to explore more of Oran's pre-amnesia past via dreams. I currently have been dropping breadcrumbs for his CR here and there, and Even's probably the best suited to explore some of his abyssal past if only because of tief-things. So... if you don't mind buckling up and taking a trip down unmemory lane, I'd be really pleased!

Hello! I hope I'm doing this right, lol

first! I'm Lark, hello. Here's some links: A5 CARD | KINKS | INFO (in progress). Barret's app is in his journal if you want more info. still working on a permissions post, but in general ota w/a preference for characters 20+. ota (f,m, nb) w/a slight lean toward women, and no underage characters please.

Event-wise, the macro/micro and sex swap stuff is something I'd like to avoid, but I am very interested in the dream sharing. I'm pretty open to most dream exploration, including stuff from his canon, or even stuff from his FUTURE canon... he hasn't experienced it but it's dreams! I'd mostly like to play around w/the settings of FF7 canon without doing direct memory share stuff — some elements of his memories will pop up but it'll be pretty surreal bc dreams. And I'm also down for settings outside of his canon, too. I'll just copypasta from his info page to give a sense of the settings I'd be up for exploring in a dream setting:

AUs/what-ifs, canon divergences, fantasy/regency aus, sentinel/guide, bodyguard, modern single dad Barret on the school PTA aus, road trips, postapoc/apoc/zombie aus, pet person, cyberpunk, wild west aus, etc.

so hmu with whatever; I love dream sharing so much!! cannot stress that enough.

As far as Set the Stage, some of the kinks on his card would lend pretty well to that (body worship, roleplay, etc.) so I'm open to plotting on that front too. My only thing is that he won't bang it out w/literally everyone he runs into so it might be just foreplay or teasing w/some people, if it happens at all. He's pretty new so I don't want to culture shock him too badly.

From a gen perspective, Barret will be taking the sunny day to learn how to, with varying levels of success, fish. (He got a fishing rod from Rude) He is also interested in exploration — over time, I think he will be wanting to figure out if there's some form of library/record-keeping, and if not, if it can be built. Since he's stuck here, he very much wants to learn more about what's on the go, and to maybe help other people out too.

I don't usually play Oran as hopping straight to banging either (though he's a lot more dtf since he's acclimatized to fuck island, lol) I just like the thought of him making friends that make him look even noodlier than usual. spoilers, but at this canon point, klavier's musical career has actually ended—but he'll be compelled to perform anyway. anyone who wants to see an insane rock concert that is bound to last at least an hour or two is totally welcome. his lyrics are questionable (bad) sometimes (most of the time), but if you like rock, the sound isn't too bad at all.

since the stage is providing for them, i'm guessing there will be specters of klavier's past bandmates onstage with him, but anyone compelled to join definitely should! that particular bandmate will be a sore spot for him if he's mentioned later.

you can meet him after the show, where he will probably be disgustingly sweaty and a little full of himself, but he'd be happy to hear if you enjoyed yourself. or... you can tell him you hated it? it was too loud? i won't stop you

the options don't really call out to me, but i'm definitely willing to play things out with other people! he can definitely be compelled to touch ass

Leslie is set up pretty comfortably just now but will absolutely be curious about the new building appearing. He tries to keep abreast of the places that pop up around the city, although the only one he frequents is the cafe. He will be available to help with moving your character in! Grunt work is something he's good at.

SET THE STAGE
Leslie has quite a few things on his A5 that would benefit from what the amphitheater can provide--Mirrors, Costumes (possibly spoken for), Clothing. He would not be interested in watching anyone, and will likely have an averse reaction to being watched without consent due to things from his canon, but I'm definitely open to discussing Exhibitionism and Photography/Videotaping. (Feel free to just ask him about this instead; he has yet to really vent about it to anyone on the island, save the handful of castmates that were present for it during canon.) I would be more interested in someone else's memory than sharing any of Leslie's. His would likely involve: his break-up, the bombings in Midgar, and the various horrors of working directly under Don Corneo among other things. I'd definitely be curious to drop Leslie into another canon alongside your character! And, of course, AUs are very welcomed and loved. We are both adaptable.

Finally, as always, open to general non-event discussions as well. Leslie could always use some friends, especially his own age. Or at least someone to have coffee with.

In Your Dreams: Did you ever want to be in a plane that is crashing and in the middle of exploding, experiencing your death vividly? No? Well, that is what you get. Garma's most reoccurring dream is the nightmare of his own demise and now it is open to tourists.

Alternatively, if you want to hang around a space colony? Sure, come on in. Mundane dreams of living on Side 3 are available, though they might optionally come with a side of exploding cars.... hm. There's a theme here.

I'm an equal opportunist when it comes to CR, so perhaps you'd like to turn the tables on McGillis! - obligatory fluff is just food. lots of food. all the food you could ever imagine. his literal dreamworld happy place is just being back home in a large cafeteria that seems to be underground in a cathedral surrounded by all the food. Feel free to join him as he's stupidly happy just for having that simple thing. But it would probably be bittersweet too because that's just him.
- spicy stuff. Allen is... a hard mode character for smut games tbh, what with all his baggage. But he's also a normal teenager, so. Sexy dreams are honestly probably one of the only ways he might not balk and smut threads can happen for a good long while. That said, he's also new and unfortunately it would be hard without already having cr. But I am open to the potential! Or establishing cr early in a dream and it heads that direction. And it would make his reactions around anyone in the "real world" after hilarious. Total mortification.

I kinda like the performative sex idea but Edelgard definitely isn't an exhibitionist, so if I go that route I'd like something that won't feel humiliating to her because the memory will be embarrassing enough. It'll lessen the eventual sting for her if it works out to a fair exchange of squares. Normally I'd say that it'd help if she already knows whoever else would be involved but in this particular situation I'm not sure that'd be the case. I realize this is vague but I'm here to brainstorm if something strikes you! Is your character already on display when she shows up on stage and they both feel like they have a part to play when they see each other? Something like that could work for me.

Generally speaking Edelgard'll be out appreciating the sunlight and you can run into her in a variety of places, especially now that she's been convinced the cafe food is safe enough (spoilers: apparently now it's not all as safe as she believes? thanks, Lorenz) but I prefer first meetings that aren't all small talk so I encourage things like cooperative combat (monster-hunting?) or awkward aphro influences (actual smut is not a requirement).

0. General Announcements
Sometime this month Oran will be announcing the opening of his Potions & Notions Trading Post in which customers can pick up nifty little D&D themed items, like potions of healing and self-mending ropes! He'll be asking for monster and wilderness plant parts in addition to credits or even squares filled. Just help him find enough to fund magical R&D. (The page is not quite ready yet, but I will have some OOC text forms for trades, buying, selling, or whatever for hand-waved interactions. I really wanted to provide some D&D themed goodies since It's Oran's specific flavour of Ye Olde.)

I, II, & III
Oran is gun-shy of Augur-built structures after the springs, and won't be attending any feasts or performances unless he's specifically invited (and not by Even, because that tiefling is worse than he is at minding his own business.) However, if anyone wants to let him know it's relatively harmless this month, he'd appreciate it!

Thoughts on this involve beef to make a more monstrous version of his many-times-great grandmother, including bigger horns, more monster bod, and semi-feral posing... but it's still Oran under all that, no mental manipulation this month.

He'd be very happy to watch a show if you have anything along those lines, and could even have some fun with photography and videotaping, cuckolding or xenophilia if you're looking for smut.

IV. Dreams
Yas! Two options for consideration.

Established CR

I want to keep sowing seeds of Oran's pre-amnesia past so that he can get help making those connections, because he very much won't on his own. He used to be a member of a cult that dug up secrets on deities, and had been sent on a tricky mission along with more established cult-members to find a weakness to the god of murder, Baal. Oran was picked to go along because of his connection to the abyss, specifically the connection of a demon that was known to hoard secrets in her domain.

Oran's nightmares will consist of a landscape known as the barrens, which contain the desolate wastes of beautiful civilizations past. Plenty to plunder but... lots of danger, too. Oran will believe others with him are the people relying on him to alert them to danger, since he has odd feelings about things.

Jon Sims and Even have a couple of pieces of this puzzle: specifically, the names Savras, Queen of the Void, Angel of Everlasting Devastation, etc. etc. and that the latter may or may not have access to steamrolling possessing Oran as a mouthpiece when he's having an episode, so I'd like to put out more breadcrumbs.

This prompt could also get sidetracked into smut if you like. Fucking in ancient elaborately beautiful ruins, some semi-feral fucking, 'notice me senpai' fucking, 'just happy we survived that nonsense' fucking. Whatever floats your boat, if it helps fill some squares.

New and Fluffy CR

Oran is from a high fantasy city called Waterdeep, a little like a mashup of Olde Seattle and London but with giant statues in the middle of the street turned into tenements, every kind of upright chatty species you could think of, and guilds for literally everything. Come help him wrangle a ghostly tavern keeper in the rundown Trollskull Alley Mansion, take a ride on a gryphon, gamble with the goddess of Luck herself, or take a stroll through the endless rows of gravestones in the City of the Dead.

Oran has a xenophilia square to fill out. Want to recast your character as a D&D race for a temporary dream sequence? He is pansexual in the broader sense of the term when it comes to all the various kinds of people that inhabit his home city.

Haha, the picture of the house in the plotting post is from Barcelona! I walk by it every day when I go to work, is the Casa Batlló and I was super amused to see it here. It's a really lovely building. I have a lot on my plate right now so I'm not sure if I'll make a Top Level for Peter or just have him tagging around. THAT SAID.

III. FEAST AND BE...

PETER MAKES A GORGEOUS LADY, or so will say so himself. So yeah, he's eating clams because free food is his thing, and ending genderbended. Beyond the initial surprise, he will be all 'well okay' and fondle herself try to figure out how the new body works and feels. If anybody wants to help him/her with that, it would be lovely because he's kind of a hoe.

VI. IN YOUR DREAMS

Do you want some bad dreams and trauma? Boy do I come bearing the most awful gifts. Spoilers below for Gotg 1 & 2, and Avengers: Infinity War Also CW for death in practically all these memories. They're in white text, so highlight to read.

Peter has these memories/recurring nightmares:

1. His mother Meredith dying in the hospital from a brain tumor when Peter was 8 years old, asking him to hold her hand. He got scared and ran away, something he regrets to this day, then got abducted by aliens.

2. Peter's biological father Ego, mind controlling Peter and later admitting that he put the tumor in Meredith's head to kill her because he was the biggest narcissist in the whole universe, and Peter going ape shit at the news.

3. Ego dying in front of Peter after the guardians put a bomb in his brain/the center of the planet to stop him from destroying the Galaxy.

4. Yondu dying in Peter's arms, saving him from suffocating in space, after telling him he always considered Peter his son.

5. Basically everything that went wrong in Knowhere with Thanos and Gamora: mainly how she demands Peter to kill her (since he promised) to stop Thanos from discovering where the soul stone was located. He did try to fulfill the promise, it did not go well.

6. Following the trend of 'Things that completely broke my poor muse's soul'...Peter discovering that Thanos murdered Gamora and completely losing it.

7. Peter's own death, turning to dust.
