I've heard of Attack on Titan a lot but never actually knew what it was about so the whole thread has been enlightening.

You're getting the strangest crash course from the least loyal former member of the Marleyan military but I'm dying thinking this is how you're learning about AoT IT GETS ALL THE MORE WILD and she's glossing details like her ethnic heritage and culture being the only one that can be forcibly made into titans that only want to eat people bc the people who are the titans are trapped in nightmare dreams the entire time, unless they eat a titan shifter to turn human again...

basically if you end up wanting spock to do a followup to learn more about her culture, it's going to be wild and from the really "yes all of it was bullshit always" perspective

I did do a little google and looked at the titans and oh my god what a trip this show must be. I clearly need to jump on the train lol.

Oh good--

Laughs, it's a beautifully handled anime in particular, so I can recommend the watching for having some great action but also like. Decent scenery? Annie's story won't be in what seasons are out right now, but presumably will in the final season... I'm not as up to date on what the anime's schedule is like. The art for the manga is definitely more a take it or leave it if you can enjoy it, but all 132 chapters are out to be found!
