Interests: I like visual / performing arts (I have a history in fine arts, stagecraft, some instruments, and opera), and numbers (read: math). I also like video games (Drakengard, God of War, the Legend of Zelda, Final Fantasy, etc), but I don't really play them as much as I'd like to.
TL;DR I'm an accountant and data analyst with an MMO life on the side. I travel normally a lot, have two homes, cats, a snake, and a turtle. (Thank you for having me!)

TL;DR: Melfina is a very innocent individual. She is an artificially created being, not exactly human, but not exactly machine either. She's somewhere in between and that defines a lot of who and what she is, who she wants to be, where she wants to be, and so on and so forth. She's very codependent, altruistic, empathetic, and kind of heart. In canon, she was constructed with a very specific purpose in mind and has been treated largely as a valuable possession by those around her, which has messed a little with her perception of herself. (Her canon point takes her from a point in which she is just coming to discover and express that.)

I probably don't really need to spell this out, but given that she is so very innocent, Melfina will not be diving into any hardcore kinks. I'll eventually put together what will likely be a moderately vanilla kink list. This is likely to change over time as she adapts to life here and forms relationships with people. It probably will not be a very easy time pursuing much in the way of intimate or romantic interest with her.

Also Melfina is... a cutie, even though I only have vague memories of Outlaw Star. (I did suddenly vividly remember the cactus stomping when you mentioned it, tho)

My snake is a royal python. He'll be two years old in October. I got him shortly after he hatched and he was about a fortnight old.

Sorry in advance for her taking advantage of him without knowing that she is, very much in fact taking advantage of him. He's too good to her.

awwww, how precious! a python is on my list for when I get someplace with a little more space, their faces are so cute.

honestly he'd be proud of her if she was knowingly taking advantage of him, like... you go, girl. As it stands, though, it's like... hyenas split food with their packs, ok, and she clearly needs a temporary pack.

I'll admit that I'm pretty weak to his face and that he likes little chin rubs and what not. I had a red tail boa and a Burmese python fifteen years ago or so. He's my first royal type and his temperament is greatly different. I'm enjoying the change.

But yes. She'll adopt him into her pack. And hopefully Aisha won't chew him up completely.

i've only watched the first ep of outlaw star, but ngl, i owned one videotape with a trailer for the anime that i'd rewatch pretty often, so a video like this is practically just embedded in my memory at this point.

that said, lelouch isn't very innocent, but he is a questionable influence if you'd like someone who can help her as far as her quest for self-discovery goes. other than that, cr in general would be nice!

I don't even think I've ever seen an Outlaw Star trailer. I watched this and had to rack my head and my memories and it doesn't strike me as familiar at all. Come to think of it, I don't even remember how I got into Outlaw Star. I think it was recommended to me by a friend and hadn't yet aired in North America yet? A trip down memory lane...

I am extremely canonblind to... Code Geass? I think that's what Lelouch is from? (I think my familiarity goes toward memes and little else.) I'm looking forward to learning more about him and I am extremely interested in questionable influences on Melfina. She could always use more of those, so I will simply make grabby hands.

NOT TO BE REDUNDANT but omg outlaw star chars out in the wild... melfina was my first waifu tbh so i will have to throw someone her way. both of mine would appreciate her i think, though the cranky vampire cat would be less obvious about it. she's pretty tsun.

I actually love this feedback. I don't think I've seen an Outlaw Star in our community for ages aside from Sunny (and we go way back), so it's super cool to see people taking to both of us so well.

It's super lovely to be here and wonderful to meet you as well. I look forward to us getting a chance to interact.

god me neither. it's sad tho, bc outlaw star is probably my favorite anime of all time. it aged so well, imo. or maybe that's my nostalgia glasses talking...

i'll def make sure to keep an eye out! if not this month then next (i have hiatused for june because of school obligations!)
