TL;DR: Human/alien robot hybrid who was given birth to save the world at the cost of his own life. Doesn't know that bit, which is a good thing because it would have been a downer on his life. As a result of being raised by well-meaning guardians and cool stories of adventures in space, Day is eager to prove himself that he can uphold the legacies of his parents. He's cheerful and bright and pretty sweet, eager to make new friends and try to make the best of this really weird situation, you know? He also used to be over ten feet tall but is a more reasonable 5'4 in the Nameless City for the time being. Hurrah for the little things.
