TL;DR: Apollo is one of the few down-to-earth characters in the wacky world of the Ace Attorney games, where the courtroom is a circus and 'innocent until proven guilty' isn't really a thing. (It's a parody of the Japanese legal system that's gone a little beyond it's original premise at this point). Apollo is short, loud, sarcastic and hotheaded, and he also has a lie detection ability if anyone's interested in him finding out all your kinky secrets. He's also had a really weird and tragic life so being thrown in a sexy jamjar is just his luck, honestly.
