Hello, Jan. Everyone should love Matt, even though he's a loser. I'm not at all familiar with how witchers work, even though I keep telling myself I'm going to watch S1 and I haven't yet (I am a loser). That said, I love the idea of him meeting other people that are like-minded/like-abled and having someone to spar with would probably make him very happy. I'm going to have to work out how open he is to being a bouncy Russian gymnast in 'public', but hey, guess whose suit came with him? Kinky leather hornhead gear for the win! =)

No rush in anything, but I'd certainly be up for having some cr when you feel up to it.

Being a loser is why he should be loved, haha! Oh no worries. Unfortunately the show doesn't do a whole lot to explain witchers. Eskel will be in season two but I'm playing him from the games, anyway. (Netflix!Witcher is an adaptation of the original book series - the games take place after the books.) Quick version: recruited children are given alchemical mutations that make them into superhuman monster hunters - if they survive the process. Sounds great! Eh, we'll figure out the details somewhere along the way. It'll be interesting for Eskel to talk to someone whose first impression of him doesn't involve his facial scars. And hey, Eskel's also (mostly) dressed in red and black! Twinsies, har har!

You know what? Thank you for filling in that bit of information I was missing about the games/books. I know that the games were based on the books (but I'm not familiar with the actual canon of it), but I didn't know that they ran together or that the games were like, post book time. It helps for when I get into the series if I can figure out the wheres of everything.

I'm game for if he wants to tag into the TDM or when the mingle goes up (mods say tomorrow?) Either or, I'm pretty open to working within people's structures. Thank you for the info. If there's anything you think Matt would pick up on, feel free to drop that here/permissions page so he can figure out what to read on. (God, I need to update that page and put in a form).

Oh no worries! Glad I could accidentally help ya, lol. Another note for the Netflix series is that it doesn't show scenes in chronological order. So if you end up wondering like "wait didn't we already meet that character as an old man?" then that's why.

I'll probably hit you up in the mingle thread, now that I've seen it. (I'm gonna be slow, but I'll carry on :D;;;; ) Can't think of anything in particular? Eskel's info post is pretty detailed, it's got things like his scent and examples of his voice. ...speaking of, what do you think Matt would smell like? lol

It is, and I'll probably reference it when I need to, so thank you for that. Um, besides sadness and Catholic guilt? Not sure. He doesn't really use anything scented when he can get away with it because of his own senses, so likely just whoever he's been around and maybe sweat/leather if he's been in his suit and/or working out.
